WHAT TO WEAR
Kids: Basically, come in a pair of jeans and bring several different tops. The tops should be solid, bright colors (no white or black).

Bright colors
*
Overalls for kids under 7
*
Barrettes and clips for hair (nothing sparkly or colorful - it should not be noticeable in hair)
*
Hair rubber bands, hairbrush, hairspray
*
Makeup (keep it natural!): Lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow. Stay away from bright pinks, purples,

greens
*
Overall, go for the "all-American" GAP look -- you should look like you just stepped out of a MACY's

catalog or a JIFFY peanut butter commercial, for example
* Clothing from The Children's Place, Limited Too, Gap, Old Navy and Kohls work the best.
* Tip: Buy an outfit for the photo shoot, but keep the tags on - return it when you're done!
* Don't worry about shoes - you won't see them:)
What not to wear
*
No solid black
*
No solid white
*
No gray, beige, cream or dull colors
*
No busy patterns
*
