JUNIOR DIRECTORS

Being a Junior Director is a FREE opportunity to learn about what goes on behind the scenes! Junior Directors assist the professional Directors with blocking, choreography, and music during rehearsals. When it's time for dress rehearsals, they work backstage costuming, mic-ing, cuing, helping with props, and stage managing. Community service hours are available to all participants.

Middle school and high school students may apply to be Junior Directors during the school year. Only high school students may apply to be Junior Directors during the summer.  During fall, winter, and spring, Junior Directors will work on Jellybeans shows, assisting young performers in grades K-2. During the summer, Junior Directors will work on Summer Workshop Intensives, assisting young performers in grades 3-9.
