About The Edge

The Edge is Random Farms' program for the serious high school or college-age actor looking to perform challenging material in a professional setting. Performers will work on shows geared towards a mature audience, alongside staff that will include RFKT directors and Broadway guest artists. Please note that shows chosen often contain adult language and themes.

Commitment

The commitment for a production is approximately 8-10 weeks. Rehearsals are 1-3 days/wk, depending on role and show. Rehearsals are held at the RFKT studios in Elmsford. There is one production in the fall (Oct/Nov/early December) and/or one in the spring (March/April/early May). Other events may be held throughout the year.

Fee

There is no cost to audition. The cost for members to participate in The Edge is $370. This covers your lifetime membership and includes participation in one production. Non-members who are cast in individual shows from an open call also pay a production fee of $370. The fee for shows in concert is $295. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. Refund Policy: There are no refunds for this program. Rehearsals are a priority and if you miss more than those stated on your conflict sheet, your continuation in the production will be at the discretion of the Producer.
